Be with you is a 2018 South Korean film directed by Lee Jang-hoon and starring So Ji-sub and Son Ye-jin. It is a remake of the 2004 Japanese film of the same title, based on a novel by Takuji Ichikawa.
Soo-ah (Son Ye-jin) is a woman who has become seriously ill after the birth of her son; a few years later, before she dies, she promises him and her husband, Woo-jin (Son Ji-sub), that she will return a year later at the beginning of the rainy season. She surprisingly, she keeps the promise and reappears before both of them, but she has lost her memory and does not recognize them. They take her to her house, hide the fact of her death from him, and she slowly recovers family life. She is reconstructing her past thanks to photographs, documents and objects that are in the house. However, all of this can only last a few months, because Soo-ah has to leave her family at the end of the rainy season.
