Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is a 2010 fantasy film directed by David Yates and released by Warner Bros. Pictures. This is part 2 of the seventh film in the Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows series based on the best-selling novel of the same name by British writer J.K. Rowling. The film is considered the final installment of the Harry Potter film series written by Steve Kloves with producers David Heyman, David Barron, and Rowling. The film continues the unfinished story of the previous part about Harry Potter and his friends with the mission to find and destroy the remaining Horcruxes of Voldemort to prevent him from dominating the world once and for all.
The film still features the same cast from previous installments as Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, along with Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as Harry's two best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. After destroying the locket in the previous film, the trio of Harry, Ron and Hermione go to Luna's father Xenophilius Lovegood to ask about a symbol they have seen on his clothes, similar to the hand-drawn image in the book.
