Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth fantasy film in the Harry Potter film series. The film is based on the novel of the same name by British writer J. K. Rowling. The film's director is David Yates. The scriptwriter is Steve Klove added and removed some details and content in the novel. The film was released on July 15, 2009 across North America. The film was scheduled to release in November 2008, but was later announced by Warner Bros. to postpone the release date to July next year. The film grossed $159.6 million after its first five days of release across North America.
The content of the film is more about the love between the students at Hogwarts than the fighting like in the story. Most of the time the film is to express the psychology of the character. Especially, the character of Draco is well-acted by Tom Felton with the inner turmoil of having to do a dark job to prove himself.
Harry sat in a pub and waited for Albus Dumbledore. When he appeared, Harry and his master Apparated to a small village. Mr. Albus's purpose was to invite Mr. Horace Slughorn to the school to teach. Albus then sent Harry to stay at the Weasleys until school day.
The Bellatrix sisters sought out Professor Snape to fulfill the Unbreakable Vow that Snape had to keep Draco safe on his mission. Snape agreed. Draco later joined the Death Eaters in Borgin and Burkes. Harry and two friends saw Draco and shady actions, so they followed.
Then the day of school arrived, the train carried all the students to Hogwarts. On the train, wondering what Draco had done, Harry watched with his invisibility cloak. And unfortunately Draco found out about Harry. When they all got off the bus, Draco beat Harry and left him on the train. Luna Lovegood found out and the two entered the school together. Hogwarts has taken all measures to create a barrier to prevent any witchcraft and Death Eaters from entering.
At Hogwarts, Slughorn teaches Potions, which is not a very good subject for Harry. Thinking that he would not be able to study this subject again, Harry did not prepare the book. So borrowed from the school. And that book (by the Half-Blood Prince) helped Harry learn Potions well and was given a bottle of Phuc Lac Potion by Mr. Slughorn.
During this time, Harry was taught by Albus a class and viewed memories of Voldemort as a child. And Mr. Albus needed more memories of the Dark Lord by asking Mr. Slughorn. But Harry mentioned the matter to the Potions master and to no avail.
Assassinations occurred, the first of which was the enchanted Katie Bell. Then there was Ron who was under Ronmilda's spell. Harry took Ron up to Slughorn's room for treatment and then offered Ron wine. But in alcohol there is poison.
The Christmas party arrives and then Harry gets to spend the holidays at Ron's house with Hermione. Here Harry discussed business with the Order of the Phoenix. And then Ginny went upstairs, saw Harry. The two were about to kiss, but a strange noise appeared. Harry looked out and a fire was blown down around Weasley Farm. The Death Eaters with Bellatrix appeared. Harry couldn't help but run out of the house and chase after the witch. Ginny also followed Harry. And the two clashed with the Death Eater, and the phoenix caught up with Harry. The death-eater and the witch saw that no one was on the farm, so they burned the whole farm.
During the school year so far, Harry has seen Draco sneak around and do mysterious things. It turned out that Draco had quietly repaired the Disappearance Cabinet in the Room of Request so that the Death Eaters could infiltrate Hogwarts. And then Harry discovered that maybe Draco had cast a spell on Katie. Harry met Draco in the bathroom and the two got into a fight and Harry used the Cutter Forever charm and Snape found out. So Snape doubted the spell Harry used.
