It consists of a story about a teenager who has come to a new high school and discovers an underground fight club.
(Never Back Down) is about a guy named Jake Taylor. Jake moved to Orlando, Florida with his family. Quiet, grumpy face and unlike anyone else, Jake is not liked by many friends, so he is lost in his new place. But no one knows that he is suffering from the death of his father.
Everything changes when he meets Baja, her beautiful and intelligent classmate. Accepted by Baja's invitation, Jake attended her party and was entangled in a match with other bully students Ryan McCarthy. In this match, Jake was defeated and insulted in front of everyone including Baja, making everyone look down on him except for his kind and enthusiastic classmate Max. Max always believed and cared about Jake. It was Max who introduced the martial art and invited Jake to join the martial arts class taught by Mr Jean Roqua.
Since then, Jake is passionate about martial arts and determined to practice. With the devoted teaching of Mr Roqua, Jake understood that martial arts is a sport that combines patience, discipline and determination to succeed. Also thanks to martial arts, Jake also realized that there are many things in his life that are more important than winning.
